This picture - taken about 1904 - shows John Lang,
the headmaster of what was then Kilmaronock Public School standing at his door watching over his pupils. There are still some older residents of the area who remember a period of their education in The Old School House. The school originally served all the local villages, and later the schoolroom saw service as a village hall.

  
 

Here is the house almost 100 years later, with your hosts Hilary and Stuart. They took over this already well established business in December 2005 and are continuing the legacy of offering guests a warm welcome to their home.
